Van Catches Fire After Suspects Fire Shots
Crawford County authorities are looking for the driver and passenger of a pickup truck suspected of shooting into the back of a van causing it to catch fire and explode.
The incident happened on New Town Road around 10 a.m. Thursday (March 14) near Kibler, according to Sheriff Ron Brown.
Two white men in a maroon Dodge pickup fired shots into the back of the van and hit an oxygen tank, causing it to explode and catch the van on fire.
The sheriff is calling it a road rage incident. They believe the shots were fired from some sort of rifle.
